Is Texas Hold’em Blackjack?
Texas Hold’em is poker, not blackjack. The games use cards but differ in objective, opponents, betting and hand values. A product using both names is a separate variant whose own rules must be read.
Texas Hold’em
Players combine private hole cards with shared community cards to make a poker hand. Betting occurs over multiple rounds, and players compete against one another for the pot. Bluffing, position and opponents’ ranges can affect decisions.
Blackjack
Each player competes against the dealer’s hand, not against the other players. The objective is to beat the dealer without exceeding 21, subject to actions such as hit, stand, double and split. Poker hand rankings and a shared pot do not determine ordinary blackjack results.

Hybrid names
A casino can market a side bet or proprietary table game with “Hold’em” and “blackjack” in its name. That label does not import the rules or strategy of either standard game. Check the full rule sheet, paytable, licence and mathematical analysis.
