Match Play 21 is not a sufficient rules document. Do not transfer a deck count, bonus table, minimum stake, chip limit or house-edge figure from an old article to a current product without checking the provider’s complete help screen.
Use correct short-deck language
If a product uses a 48-card “Spanish” deck, the removed cards are the four rank-10 cards. Jacks, queens and kings remain and still have a value of 10. Saying that all ten-value cards are removed is incorrect.
Compare any named product with standard blackjack rules.
Rules that must come from one product
- Number of decks and shuffle or reset procedure.
- Dealer hole-card, peek and soft-17 procedure.
- Doubling, splitting and surrender options.
- Which special 21s receive a bonus and when a bonus is disqualified.
- Blackjack, insurance and ordinary-win payouts.
A bonus table cannot be evaluated separately from those rules. Even two products with the same name may use different configurable settings.
Strategy reduces errors; it does not erase the edge
A strategy built for the exact rules can reduce avoidable losses relative to guesswork. It cannot be described as “overcoming” a positive house edge unless a separate, supported advantage analysis establishes that result under the same configuration.
Availability and limits change
Do not present legacy casino names, device support, table limits or online popularity as current facts. A licensed operator should publish accessible game rules, payouts and the applicable house-edge information before play.
