Betsoft’s catalog describes 21 Burn Blackjack as a six-deck, multi-hand game with an optional Burn feature and a stated theoretical RTP of 99.50%. The catalog page does not publish every decision rule or Burn paytable, so verify the in-game help before wagering.
What Betsoft verifies
Betsoft lists the product as live from January 30, 2013. Its public overview says that a player can use up to three simultaneous hands, that each hand is played against the dealer rather than against the other player hands and that six decks are used. It also advertises a Burn-card option.
The displayed 99.50% RTP is a theoretical return for the documented configuration. It is not a 99.50% chance of winning a hand, a guaranteed session result or a substitute for the full rules.
Three hands means three initial wagers
One hand at 10 units puts 10 units into the round; three hands at 10 each put 30 units into it before any doubles, splits or optional Burn charges. Three hands sharing a dealer are not statistically independent. They can have different totals, but the same dealer outcome can affect several hands at once. Reducing each stake changes the comparison: three hands at two units expose six initial units, not thirty.
What 99.50% RTP means in money
If the quoted return applies to the rules and decisions being used, 99.50% RTP corresponds to a 0.50% theoretical edge. On 10,000 units of qualifying total wagers, the expected loss is 10,000 × 0.005 = 50 units. This is a long-run average, not a forecast that a particular player will finish exactly 50 down.
Total wagers are turnover, not the opening deposit. A 100-unit balance repeatedly reused for 10-unit bets can generate far more than 100 units of wagering. Conversely, stopping early produces less turnover. Keep optional charges and any wager with a different return separate; do not apply the catalog percentage indiscriminately to every amount paid.
What still has to be checked
- the current blackjack payout;
- dealer action on soft 17;
- double, split and surrender restrictions;
- exact Burn timing, price and paytable;
- whether the quoted RTP includes or assumes use of the Burn feature;
- the licensed operator, stake limits and current availability.
Do not use an old strategy recommendation or calculate the Burn wager from an unverified secondary description. Optional replacement features change both the hand and the amount at risk; their value requires the exact rules and probabilities.
How to evaluate the game
Open the current help screen before betting and save the applicable rules. Compare the ordinary blackjack package first, then treat the Burn option as a separate decision. If its price, outcomes or paytable are missing, decline it.
A replacement card has to justify its price
Compare the expected result from keeping the hand with the expected result after replacement, including any extra cost and separate payment. As an illustrative calculation, improving an expected result by 0.20 units while paying a nonrefundable 0.50-unit charge makes the combined decision 0.30 units worse. These are example values, not this product’s Burn price or strategy. A prettier hand alone does not establish that buying the option improves its value.
